Knock sensor

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Raise and secure the vehicle.

3. Disconnect the knock sensor connector.



4. Loosen the knock sensor mounting bolt.

5. Remove knock sensor.

Installation procedure

1. Install knock sensor with bolt.

Tighten

Tighten knock sensor mounting bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).



2. Connect the knock sensor connector.

3. Lower the car.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
