Removal procedure
1. Remove the gasket and nuts securing the exhaust pipe of the muffler to the catalytic converter located on the bottom (UCC).
2. Remove the gasket and nuts securing the catalytic converter located on the bottom (UCC), to the front muffler pipe.
3. Remove the underbody catalytic converter assembly.
Installation procedure
1. Install the gasket and nuts securing the catalytic converter located on the bottom (UCC), to the front muffler pipe.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts securing the underbody catalytic converter to the front muffler to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
2. Install the gasket and tighten the nuts that secure the exhaust pipe of the muffler to the catalytic converter located on the bottom (UCC).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts securing the exhaust pipe of the muffler to the catalytic converter located on the bottom to a torque of 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
