Removal procedure
1. Discharge the air conditioning system, if any.
2. Remove the grille guide. Follow See Section 9R, Front Body.
3. Remove the grille. Follow See Section 9R, Front Body.
4. Remove the engine bottom shield. Follow Section 9N, Frame and lower bodywork.
5. Remove the main hood latch support. Follow See Section 9R, Front Body.
6. Remove the charge air cooler inlet/outlet hoses. See «Air injection system» in this section.
7. Remove the air conditioning condenser from the radiator. Follow See Section 7B, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Control.
8. Remove the upper radiator bracket.
9. To turn away bolts of a cooler of forced air.
10. Remove the charge air cooler.
Installation procedure
1. Install the charge air cooler on the radiator.
2. Install the charge air cooler bolts.
3. Install the upper radiator bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the charge air cooler bolts to 8.5 Nm (75.2 lb-in).
Tighten the radiator upper bracket bolts to 20 Nm (14.8 lb-ft).
