Heavy items in the luggage compartment should be placed against the seatbacks. Make sure the backs are secure. When stacking items, place heavier items at the bottom.
Secure all items in the rear compartment so that they do not slip.
When transporting items in the rear compartment, the rear seatbacks must not tilt forward.
Do not let the load protrude over the backrests.
Do not place objects on the rear compartment lid or on the dashboard, or cover the sensor at the top of the dashboard.
The load must not interfere with the operation of the pedals, parking brake and shift lever or restrict the freedom of movement of the driver. Do not keep loose items in the cabin.
It is unacceptable to drive with an open rear compartment.
The payload is the difference between the permissible maximum weight (see Identification plate) and the curb weight of the vehicle.
For details on the curb weight of the vehicle, see technical data section.
When driving with a load on the roof, the effect of crosswinds on the vehicle increases, and the vehicle's handling deteriorates due to the increase in the center of gravity.
Distribute the load evenly and secure it properly with the straps. Adjust tire pressure and vehicle speed according to the load conditions. Check and tighten belts frequently.
