Do not leave the vehicle on a surface that could easily ignite. In this case, the cause of the fire may be the high temperature of the vehicle's exhaust system.

Always apply the parking brake.

Turn off the engine and ignition. Turn the steering wheel until the lock is activated.

If the vehicle is on a level surface or an incline, place the selector in 1st gear or P before turning off the ignition. On an incline, turn the front wheels away from the curb.

If the vehicle is on a downhill slope, engage reverse gear before switching off the ignition. Turn the front wheels towards the curb.

Close windows.

Lock the car and turn on the anti-theft system.
