Features of the indicator of the unavailability of the assistance system when driving down:
- Flashing (yellow light) indicates that the down assist system is not ready for operation due to overheating (about 350-400°С) rubbing parts (front pad) as a result of strong or repeated braking. This indicator will turn off when the temperature of the rubbing parts drops (front pad) up to a level not exceeding 350°C.
- continuous glow (yellow light) indicates that the normal operation of the system is interrupted due to overheating (over 400°C) rubbing parts (front pad) as a result of strong or repeated braking.
- This indicator also goes out when the temperature of the rubbing parts drops (front pad) up to a level not exceeding 350°C.
- Flashing and lighting of the indicator of unavailability / malfunction of the system of assistance when moving down (DCS) indicates that the brake pads must be allowed to cool (as long as possible do not use the brakes). The above temperature may vary slightly depending on the condition of the car, external conditions (season, air temperature) and other factors.
