Parking
Do not leave the vehicle on a surface that could easily ignite. In this case, the cause of the fire may be the high temperature of the vehicle's exhaust system.
Do not press the release button when applying the parking brake. Apply the parking brake as hard as you can on downhill or uphill slopes. To decrease the parking brake force, depress the brake pedal at the same time.
Turn off the engine and ignition. Turn the steering wheel until the lock is activated.
If the vehicle is on a level surface or an incline, place the selector in first gear or P before turning off the ignition. Stopping on an incline, turn the front wheels away from the curb. If the vehicle is on a downhill slope, engage reverse gear before switching off the ignition. Turn the front wheels towards the curb.
