Electric motor of the rear wiper

Removal procedure

1. Remove the rear wiper arm. See «Rear wiper arm» in this section.

2. Remove the lower tailgate trim panel. See Section 9S, Rear.

3. Loosen the rear wiper motor bolts.

4. Remove the electric motor by pulling the pivot shaft out of the rear window grommet.

5. Disconnect electrical connector.

Installation procedure

1. Connect electrical connector.

2. Insert the rear wiper motor into the rear window grommet.

3. Tighten the wiper motor bolts.

Tighten

Tighten bolts to 8 Nm (11 lb-ft).

4. Install the tailgate trim panel. See Section 9S, Rear.

5. Install the wiper motor assembly.
