Removal and installation of the audio system

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.



2. Remove the middle dashboard trim panel.



3. Remove screws and audio system.

4. Disconnect the audio system electrical connectors.

Installation procedure

1. Connect the audio system electrical connectors.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals can lead to rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

2. Install the audio system with screws.

Tighten

Tighten the audio system screws to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).



3. Install the middle dashboard trim panel.

4. Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
