Anti-theft alarm — removal and installation

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine control bracket. For engine type, see Section 1F1 or 1F2, 1F3 "Engine management system".

3. Remove left headlight. See Section 9B "Lighting system".

4. Remove the washer reservoir tube.

5. Disconnect electrical connector.

6. Loosen the nut and remove the anti-theft alarm under the battery tray.

Installation procedure

1. Install the anti-theft alarm under the battery tray and secure with a nut.

2. Connect electrical connector.

3. Install the washer reservoir tube.

4. Install left headlight. See Section 9B "Lighting system".

5. Install the engine control bracket. For engine type, see Section 1F1 or 1F2, 1F3 "Engine management system".

6. Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
