Door speakers — removal and installation

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove door trim panel. See Section 9G, Interior lining.

3. Remove screws and door speaker.

4. Disconnect electrical connector.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals can lead to rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

1. Connect electrical connector.

2. Install the door speaker with the screws.

Tighten

Tighten door speaker screws to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

3. Install the door trim panel. See Section 9G, Interior lining.

4. Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
