Checking the level and topping up the liquid

Note: Always use DEXRONR®-IID Power Steering Fluid for topping up or complete fluid changes. The use of an unsuitable fluid will damage hoses and seals and result in leakage.

1. The power steering fluid level is determined either by the marks on the transparent reservoir or by the marks on the fluid level gauge on the fluid reservoir cap.

2. When the liquid is heated to 66°C (150°F), the fluid level must be between the MAX and MIN·marks. Top up fluid if necessary.

3. If the liquid is cold (21°C or 70°F), the fluid level must be at the MIN·mark. Top up fluid if necessary.
