Power Steering Pump

The accessory drive V-ribbed belt drives the steering pump.
The steering pump provides hydraulic pressure to the power steering gear.
Hydraulic pressure is used in power steering to make driving easier.
In order to free up space in the engine compartment, the power steering system uses a remote reservoir.
