Withdrawal procedure
1. Remove the serpentine accessory drive belt. See section 1C2, "Engine mechanical system - HFV6 3.2L".
2. Remove the front engine cover. See section 9R, "Front body".
3. Position a drain pan to collect the power steering fluid that will flow out after the high pressure hose is disconnected from the power steering pump.
4. Disconnect the high pressure hose and supply hose from the power steering pump.
5. Remove the two power steering pump bolts through the hole in the pump pulley and remove the power steering pump from the vehicle.
Installation order
1. Install the power steering pump to the vehicle and tighten the pump bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the steering pump bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
2. Connect the supply hose to the steering pump.
3. Attach the high pressure hose fitting to the power steering pump.
Tighten
Tighten the high pressure hose fitting to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).
4. Install the engine front shield. See section 9R, "Front body".
5. Install the auxiliary drive V-ribbed belt. See section 1C2, "Engine mechanical system - HFV6 3.2L".
6. Fill reservoir with power steering fluid. See section 6A, "Power Steering System".
7. Bleed the power steering system. See section 6A, "Power Steering System".
