Variable Speed Dependent Power Steering (SSPS) Power Steering Controller

Withdrawal procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove driver's knee buffer See section 9G, "Interior trim".



3. Disconnect the SSPS controller connector.

4. Remove the SSPS controller from the bracket by sliding the controller up.



5. If necessary, remove the bracket by unscrewing the mounting bolts.

Installation order

1. Install the controller bracket with bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the SSPS controller bracket bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb-ft).



2. Mount the SSPS controller on the bracket.

3. Connect the SSPS controller connector.

4. Install the driver's knee buffer. See section 9G, "Interior trim".

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
