Ignition lock cylinder — removal and installation

Withdrawal procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the steering column cover. See «steering column cover» in this section.



3. Set the ignition key to position "ACC".

4. Remove the lock cylinder by simultaneously pressing the release button and pulling out the key.

Installation order

1. Set the ignition key to position "ACC".

2. Install the lock cylinder by pressing it into the lock cylinder housing.



3. Tighten the steering column cover screws. See «steering column cover» in this section.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.
