Removal procedure
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Mark the position of the rear wheels relative to the hubs and remove the wheels. Follow Section 2E, Tires and wheels.
3. Remove the hollow bolt and o-rings used when installing the brake hose to the caliper.
4. Disconnect the brake hose. Plug the hole in the caliper and the brake hose to prevent leakage and contamination of the brake fluid.
5. Loosen the caliper guide pin bolts.
6. Remove support.
Installation procedure
1. Install the caliper guide pin bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the caliper guide pin bolts to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).
2. Attach the brake hose to the caliper with a hollow bolt and o-rings.
Tighten
Tighten the hollow bolt of the brake hose with O-rings to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).
3. Install the rear wheels. Follow Section 2E, Tires and wheels.
4. Lower the car.
5. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with clean brake fluid to the correct level.
6. Remove air from the caliper. See Part 4A, Hydraulic brakes.
