Removal procedure
1. Raise and secure the vehicle.
2. Remove rear wheels. Follow Section 2E, Tires and wheels.
3. Loosen the brake caliper lower guide pin bolt.
Important: The caliper does not need to be removed to service the brake pads.
4. Turn the caliper up.
5. Remove the brake pads.
Installation procedure
1. Measure the minimum brake pad thickness. See «General specifications» in this section.
2. Install the pads in place.
3. Push the plunger in if needed.
Note: Be careful not to damage the piston seal when lowering the caliper.
4. Turn the caliper down and install the bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the brake caliper lower guide pin bolt to 44 Nm (32 lb-ft).
5. Install the rear wheels. Follow Section 2E, Tires and wheels.
6. Lower the car.
