Front seat base

Manual driver's seat shown, electrically adjustable driver's seat similar.

Removal procedure

1. Remove seat back. See «Front seat back» in this section.

2. Remove seat trim. See «Front seat trim» in this section.

3. Remove the seat cushion bolts.

4. Remove the seat rail from the seat cushion.

Installation procedure

1. Install the cushion on the seat rail.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals can lead to rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

2. Install the seat rail to the seat cushion with the seat cushion bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the front seat cushion bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

4. Install the seat back. See «Front seat back» in this section.
