Front door glass

Removal procedure

1. Remove the door seal trim. See section 9P, «doors».

2. Remove the rear glass frame trim of the front side door. See section 9M, «Exterior finish».



3. Remove the screws holding the glass to the power window.

4. Remove glass from door.

Installation procedure

1. Install the glass in the door and place the glass in the power window.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals can lead to rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

2. Install the glass in the power window using the screws.

Tighten

Tighten glass screws to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

3. Install the front side door glass frame rear trim. See section 9M, «Exterior finish».

4. Install the door seal trim. See section 9P, «doors».
