Rear bumper impact bar

Removal procedure

1. Remove the rear bumper cover. Go to «rear bumper cover» in this section.

2. Loosen the bolts and remove the impact bar.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals can lead to rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

1. Install impact bar with bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the rear impact bar nuts to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

2. Install the rear bumper cover. Go to «rear bumper cover» in this section.
