Hood hinges — removal and installation

Removal procedure

1. Remove the hood. Go to «Hood» in this section.

2. Take off the wing. See «Wing» in this section.

3. Remove bolts and hinge.

Installation procedure

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals can lead to rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

1. Install the hinge with bolts.

Tighten

Tighten the hinge bolts to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).

2. Install the wing. See «Wing» in this section.

3. Install the hood. Go to «Hood» in this section.
