Three-point rear seat belt with emergency locking retractor (ELR)

Removal procedure

1. Loosen the bolt and remove the seat belt mount on the wheel arch trim panel.

2. Remove the rear quarter window decorative molding. See Section 9G, Interior lining.

3. Remove the wheel arch trim panel. See Section 9G, Interior lining.



4. Unscrew the bolt and remove the seat belt mount in the window area.



5. Remove the bolt and remove the seat belt retractor.

Installation procedure

1. Attach the seat belt retractor with the bolt.


Tighten

Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).



2. Establish fastening of a seat belt by means of a bolt in area of a window leaf.

Tighten

Tighten the seat belt mounting bolt to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).



3. Install the wheel arch trim panel. See Section 9G, Interior lining.

4. Install the decorative window molding. See Section 9G, Interior lining.

5. Install the seat belt anchor with the bolt on the wheel arch trim panel.

Tighten

Tighten the seat belt mounting bolt to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).
