No tools are required to adjust the manual transmission control actuator.
The manual transmission control drive consists of two cables: gear selection and gear shift, both cables are adjustable.
1. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel, see «Removal and installation of floor tunnel lining»).
2. Make sure the shift lever on the shift mechanism on the gearbox is in the neutral position.
3. Slide the shift cable adjusting clutch latch forward, similarly move the gear selection cable adjusting clutch latch forward, and set the transmission control lever to the neutral position.
4. Return the locks of the adjusting sleeves to their original position, thereby fixing the new position of the lever.
5. Start up the engine and be convinced of accurate inclusion of all transfers. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
