1. Remove the battery (see «Removing and installing the battery»).
2. Set aside the hydro-electronic block of the anti-lock braking system without disconnecting the brake pipes from it (see «Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement»).
3. Use a screwdriver to pry off the spring retainer of the damper of the main cylinder of the hydraulic clutch release...
4.... raise the latch to its highest position...
5.... and disconnect the damper from the master cylinder.
6. Using a screwdriver, pry off the retainer for attaching the hose tip to the adapter...
7....pull the latch to the extreme right position...
8.... and remove the hose tip from the adapter.
NOTE: The hose end is sealed in the adapter with a rubber ring. Replace the ring regardless of its condition.
9. Pulling down the pipeline, remove it from the holder on the body bracket...
10.... and remove the pipeline.
11. Use a screwdriver to pry the retainer that secures the hose adapter to the intermediate tube of the hydraulic drive...
12.... remove the retainer...
13.... and disconnect the hose adapter from the intermediate tube.
14. To replace the hydraulic intermediate tube installed inside the clutch housing, remove the gearbox (see «Removal and installation of a manual transmission»), clutch release slave cylinder assembly with bearing (see «Replacement of the working cylinder of the clutch release actuator with the clutch release bearing»), remove the tip of the tube from the sleeve in the clutch housing and remove the tube.
15. Squeeze the two latches..
16.... and remove the bushing of the intermediate hydraulic drive tube from the hole in the clutch housing.
17. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal and bleed the air from the hydraulic actuator (see «Bleeding the hydraulic clutch release»).
