Replacing automatic transmission seals

The procedure for replacing the seals of the inner CV joints of automatic and manual transmissions is the same and is shown above in this section using the example of a manual transmission (see «Replacing the seals of a manual transmission»). The automatic transmission does not have gearshift and input shaft oil seals.

NOTE: The inner CV joint seals can be replaced without removing the transmission from the vehicle.
