The oil filter housing is located on the front side of the power unit, between the exhaust manifold and the clutch housing, and is equipped with a replaceable filter element. The need to remove the filter housing assembly occurs when the housing is damaged or when oil leaks from under its mounting flange to replace the sealing gasket.

4. Prying with a screwdriver...
5.... remove the gasket from the groove of the filter housing flange.
6. Place a new gasket in the filter housing flange groove, then install the filter and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
