11 - signal lamp for a malfunction of the power steering (with yellow filter) lights up for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on. If the lamp is on when the engine is running, this means that the amplifier is faulty. If, after stopping the engine and restarting it, the lamp does not light up, it means that the amplifier's performance has been restored.
WARNING: If the power steering malfunction lamp is constantly on, contact the service immediately, as a sudden failure of the power steering while driving can lead to serious consequences.
12 - information display. On display (pic. 1.8) the following information is displayed:
- 1 - fuel gauge. The amount of fuel available in the tank is indicated by the number of shaded divisions on the scale. The maximum quantity is indicated by the letter F. The lowest division of the scale near the letter E remaining hatched indicates the reserve fuel balance;
WARNING: If possible, avoid driving on reserve fuel. The operation of the electric fuel pump in the absence of a continuous supply of fuel with air entering the system will lead to the failure of the pump!
- 2 - the speedometer shows how fast the car is currently moving. The maximum possible speed reading is 399 km/h;
- 3 - mode indicator in an automatic transmission or a gear engaged in manual control mode;
- 4 - digital clock. To display the time, press the button 23 (see fig. 1.7) in the instrument cluster. To set the time, press and hold button 23 for at least two seconds. To increase the hours and minutes, briefly (less than two seconds) press button 23 as many times as required. To set the selected time value, press and hold the button for at least two seconds;
- 5 - indicators of unfastened seat belts of passengers in the rear seat. Appear on the display if the belt of one of them is not fastened while there are passengers in the rear seat;
- 6 - electronic total counter (odometer) and daily mileage shows the distance traveled in kilometers. The meter readings are displayed by successively pressing the button 23 (see fig. 1.7). After a run of 1,000,000 km, a new odometer reading cycle begins. The readings of the daily run counter are reset by pressing the button 23 and keeping it pressed for several seconds.
13 - signal lamp for a malfunction of the reverse parking assistance system. Lights up red if the system is not activated when reverse gear is engaged due to a malfunction or dirt or snow sticking to the sensors.
14 - signal lamp reminder of the need to press the brake pedal (with yellow filter) works if the car is equipped with an automatic transmission. Illuminates when the ignition is switched on, reminding the driver to depress the brake pedal before moving the selector lever out of position «R» (parking) to other positions.
15 - warning light for an unfastened passenger seat belt in the front seat (with red filter) lights up constantly when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the passenger's seat belt is fastened. Lights up with a flashing light if the engine is started with the belt not fastened, for 100 seconds or until the belt is fastened.
16 - control lamp for turning on the right direction indicator (in the form of an arrow with a green filter) lights up with a flashing light when the right turn signal is turned on (in sync with it). The blinking of the control lamp at a double frequency or its constant burning indicates a lamp burnout in any right turn indicator.
17 - signal lamp for a malfunction of the anti-lock braking system (with yellow filter) lights up when the ignition is on for three seconds. In the event of a system failure, the lamp is permanently on.
WARNING: When the lamp lights up, contact a car service, as braking in all cases will occur without the participation of the anti-lock system.
18 - airbag malfunction warning light (with yellow filter) lights up when the ignition is switched on, if there is a malfunction in the airbag system.
WARNING: If the warning light comes on, contact a car service immediately. In addition to the possible failure in an emergency, the airbag may unexpectedly deploy while driving, leading to serious consequences.
19 - driver's seat belt warning light (with red filter) lights up constantly when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the driver's seat belt is fastened. Lights up with a flashing light if the engine is started with the belt not fastened, for 100 seconds or until the belt is fastened.
