Replacing the license plate light bulb

To replace the license plate light bulb, follow these steps.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Press the lamp housing in the direction of the arrow. In this case, the retaining protrusion on the lamp housing will disengage from the edge of the hole in the trunk lid trim.

NOTE: This is how the fastening elements are located on the body of the license plate light: A - retaining protrusion; B - elastic retainer.

3. Remove the light from the hole in the trim.



4. Turn the cartridge counterclockwise and remove it from the lamp housing.



5. Pull the baseless lamp out of the socket.



6. Insert a new lamp.

7. Install the lamp in the reverse order of removal.
