Replacing the contact group of the ignition switch (lock)

You will need: screwdrivers with a flat and Phillips blade, a special plastic mounting blade, a TORX T20 key.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Remove the bottom...



3....and the top of the column cover (see «Removal and installation of a casing of a steering column»).



4. Pull out the lock of the clamp of the block of the wiring harness of the contact group of the switch with a screwdriver (castle) ignition.



5. Press the latch and disconnect the block from the contact group.



6. Turn out the lower...



7.... and the upper bolts for fastening the contact group to the ignition switch.



8. Remove the contact group.



9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
