1. Brake the vehicle with the parking brake and set the wheel chocks («shoes») under the rear wheels.
2. Loosen the appropriate wheel nuts.
WARNING: Loosen and tighten the wheel nuts only with the vehicle on the ground.
3. Open the hood and remove the air box grille (see «Removal and installation of a lattice of a box of an air inlet»).
4. Remove the protective cover of the nut of the top support of the rack.
5. While holding the shock absorber rod from turning with one key, use the second key to loosen the nut of the upper mounting of the shock absorber strut.
6. Raise and place the front of the car on the stops. Completely unscrew the nuts and remove the wheel.
7. Turn away a nut of fastening of the top hinge of a rack of the stabilizer to an arm of a shock-absorber rack...
8....and move the stand aside.
9. Remove the brake hose holders and wheel speed sensor wires from the brackets on the shock absorber strut.
10. Turn away nuts of bolts of fastening of a rotary fist to a shock-absorber rack...
11.... and knock out the bolts from the holes.
WARNING: After disconnecting the lower strut mount from the steering knuckle, tie the steering knuckle to the bodywork with wire to prevent damage to the driveshaft pivots.
12. Holding the shock absorber strut, finally unscrew the nut of the upper mount of the strut and remove the thrust washer.
13. Remove shock absorber assembly.
14. Establish a rack in an order, the return to removal.
WARNING: Use only original knurled bolts to connect the strut to the steering knuckle. Tighten the strut top nut with the vehicle on the ground.
15. After installing the shock absorber strut, check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment angles. «Checking and adjusting wheel alignment»). To do this, use the services of workshops with special equipment.
