Removal, installation and adjustment of the lock of a cowl

You will need: key «at 13», pliers.



2. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the lock of a cowl...



3.... remove the lock from the radiator frame, and squeezing the antennae, remove the tip of the cable sheath from the hole in the lock body.



4. Remove the tip of the cable from the groove of the hood lock lever and remove the lock.

5. Install the hood latch in the reverse order of removal. Lubricate the hood latch with grease before installing the hood latch (e.g. lithol).



6. If, after installation, the lock does not lock clearly or is difficult to unlock, adjust its position. Loosen the bolts of the lock and by moving it within the oval holes of the body, achieve a clear operation of the lock.
