1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the windshield washer pump hose from the fitting on the hood.
3. Squeeze the latches of the hose holder and remove the holder from the hood hinge.
4. If you will install the old hood, mark the location of the hinge brackets relative to the hood by circling them, for example, with a marker.
5. Turn away from each party on two nuts of fastening of a cowl to loops and remove a cowl.
GOOD ADVICE: The hood is quite heavy and bulky, so we recommend removing it with an assistant.
6. Install the hood in the reverse order of removal. If you are installing the old hood, then before the final tightening of the fastening nuts, it is necessary to orient it according to the previously applied marks. Otherwise, the position of the hood must be adjusted in such a way that the gaps between the hood and the wings are the same on both sides, and the gap between the upper cross member of the radiator frame and the edge of the hood is uniform throughout its entire length.
NOTE: The gap between the upper cross member of the radiator frame and the edge of the hood on the cross member is adjusted by screwing in or out the rubber bumpers of the hood.
