Front door glass replacement

You will need a socket «on 10».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Remove the upholstery of the front door (see «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door»).



3. Peel off the waterproof film from the inner door panel.



4. Temporarily connect the battery, connect the window regulator control unit and, pressing the button of the window regulator control unit, set the front door glass to a position in which the nuts of the clips securing the glass to the slider are located opposite the technological holes in the inner panel of the door.



5. Loosen the nuts of the glass clamps to the power window slider.



6. Carefully remove the glass from the door by pulling it up and turning it in the doorway, as shown in the photo.

7. Establish glass of a forward door in an order, the return to removal.

NOTE: Pay attention to glass markings. To replace, purchase glass with the same marking.
