Replacing the front door opening limiter

You will need a key «on 10» (better socket head).

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Remove the upholstery of the front door (see «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door»).

3. Remove speaker speaker (see «Removing and installing speakers»).



4. Turn away two nuts of fastening of the limiter to a door.



5. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the limiter to a rack of a body...



6.... and remove the stopper through the window under the speaker in the inner panel of the door. Replace a damaged door opening limiter with a new one.

WARNING: After removing the stopper, hold the door to prevent it from opening too far. When fully opened, the door will rest against the wing, which will lead to deformation of both parts.

7. Install the door opening limiter in the reverse order of removal.
