Replacing the outer handle of the rear door lock

You will need: T20 TORX wrench, flat blade screwdriver.



1. Pry off the plug at the end of the door and remove the plug.



2. Turn the outer handle base locking bracket screw counterclockwise until the bracket releases the handle insert...



3.... then remove the insert from the door opening.



4. Screw in the locking bracket screw of the base of the outer handle clockwise until it stops.



5. Slide the outside handle back and slide the rear handle bracket out of the base.



6. Rotate the outer handle to unscrew its front bracket from the base and remove the handle.



7. Remove the outer handle gasket from the door panel.

8. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
