Replacing the cover of the inner CV joint (for automatic transmission)

Withdrawal

1. Remove the drive shaft.

2. Remove the large boot strap.

3. Remove the small collar of the boot.



4. Remove the hinge body from the boot.

5. Remove grease from the pivot housing.



6. Remove the circlip using a clamp tool.



7. Remove the treble pin and circlip of the pin joint from the drive shaft.

8. Remove the cover of the hinge pin from the drive shaft.

Installation

1. Install a new small clamp on the case.

2. Install the cover on the drive shaft.

3. Install the three-stud.

4. Install the shaft retaining ring onto the drive shaft using a clamp tool.

5. Fill the three-stud case with the recommended grease in the amount of 195-215 g. Fill the three-stud case with the recommended grease in the amount of 195-215 g.

5. Connect the cover to the CV joint housing.

6. Install a new large boot clamp. Secure the clamp with the boot clamp tightener.

7. Fasten the new small boot clamp with the boot clamp tightener.

8. Install the drive shaft to the vehicle.
