Clutch Release Torque Adjustment

1. Pull the handbrake handle.

2. Start the engine at idle.

3. While moving the shift lever to the reverse position, slowly release the clutch pedal and measure the distance between the point where no noise is heard and the point when the clutch is fully engaged. The distance should be between 30 and 35 mm.



4. If the pedal travel is outside the specified value, check the following:

• clutch pedal height
• clutch pedal free travel
• air system,
• clutch cover and pressure plate.
