To remove the valve cover, disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the valve cover. Then - disconnect the ignition wires from the spark plugs and the ignition coil and remove the ignition coil. The cover is attached to the camshaft bearing housing with eight screws, which must be tightened to 10 Nm when installing the cover.
