Withdrawal
To remove the oil pump, follow these instructions:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable:
- remove the power steering pump;
- remove the timing belt;
- remove the rear timing cover;
- disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector;
- unscrew the mounting screws and remove the crankshaft position sensor (TFR);
- remove the oil pan;
- unscrew the screws securing the support bracket and remove the oil pump intake pipe;
- unscrew the screws securing the oil pump (in the figure are shown by arrows);
- remove the front cover of the oil pump and the gasket from the cylinder block;
- remove the oil pump gears;
- remove the pressure reducing valve;
- remove the back cover of the oil pump.
Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
