Checking the health of the seat belts
Fasten the seat belts on the front seats, and then open the locks.
Fasten the seat belts in the rear seats, and then open the locks (in the presence of).
Gently pull out the seat belt, slide it across your torso and insert the metal buckle into the buckle.
Seat belt height adjustment
Pull out the belt, press the central part of the adjustment mechanism and set the height. An excessively high position can adversely affect the comfort of the belt.
Audible seat belt warning (option).
The warning will sound for 4-8 seconds if the driver's seat belt is not properly fastened when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Pedal Free Play Check
Check brake and clutch pedal free play.
Brake pedal
After pressing the brake pedal several times with the engine off, to remove the vacuum in the brake system, you should lightly press the pedal by hand and measure the distance that it travels before the moment of resistance.
Free travel of the brake pedal: 1-8 mm.
Clutch pedal
Lightly depress the pedal with your hand until resistance is felt and measure the distance.
Clutch pedal free travel: 6-12 mm
If the free play does not meet the requirements, the system or linkage should be checked and adjusted.
Sound signal
Check the sound signal.
Auxiliary and additional equipment
Check the following components for operation and the presence of extraneous noise.
Automatic transmission.
Sunroof with electric drive.
Power steering system.
Anti-lock braking system.
Power windows.
Adjustable steering wheel.
Lever for opening the filler cap.
Remote control system for locks.
Checking headlights and exterior lights
Check the lighting devices by turning them on with the fulfillment of the necessary conditions (for example, the direction indicators come on when the ignition is on).
Wiper check
Check the operation of the windshield wiper and glass washer in all operating modes in accordance with the instruction manual.
