2. Remove rear wheels. Remove brake drums.
3. Remove the parking brake cable retaining ring from both sides of the vehicle.
4. Remove the plastic sleeve.
5. Remove the parking brake cable from the brake shoe drive lever and from the drum brake shield (see fig. Т250 7.020).
6. Remove the screws securing the parking brake cable to the bracket on the rear axle.
7. Disconnect the cable mounts from the body by unscrewing the screws (see fig. Т250 7.021).
8. Disconnect the cable sheath fasteners from the bracket and the cable ends from the cable tension equalizer.
9. Remove cables.
10. Installation begins by connecting the cables to the drum brakes, and then proceeds in the reverse order of removal.
