To replace a blown fuse, open the cover and remove the fuse from its socket using a fuse puller. A bad fuse can be identified by a blown wire. A new fuse should be installed instead of a blown one only after the cause of the malfunction has been determined and eliminated. Only standard electrical fuses with a certain rated current may be used (see table below). The value of the rated current is indicated on the body of each fuse.
