Fuses, relays and lamps

The fuses on the car are grouped into two blocks. One block is located in the passenger compartment on the left under the dashboard, the other (fuses and relays) - in the engine compartment near the expansion tank of the engine cooling system.

To replace a blown fuse, open the cover and remove the fuse from its socket using a fuse puller. A bad fuse can be identified by a blown wire. A new fuse should be installed instead of a blown one only after the cause of the malfunction has been determined and eliminated. Only standard electrical fuses with a certain rated current may be used (see table below). The value of the rated current is indicated on the body of each fuse.
