Withdrawal
To remove the generator:
- provide access to it
- remove drive belt
- disconnect the wires from the generator,
- remove the alternator top bracket,
- Disconnect the bottom bracket from the alternator.
Tightening fasteners during installation
Nuts of the lower bracket for fastening the generator to the generator - torque 25 Nm.
Bolt of an arm of an earring of the generator - the moment of 25 Nm.
Alternator wire fastening nut - torque 15 Nm.
Generator check
Checking the absence of contact between the field winding and the magnetic core. The ohmmeter should show infinite resistance.
The measured resistance of the excitation winding should be 2.9 ohms.
Checking the absence of contact between the stator winding and the magnetic core.
