Attention: when carrying out work on removing / installing headlights and replacing lamps, it is necessary to disconnect the negative wire (mass) from battery (battery).
When installing new lamps, do not touch the lamp bulb with your hands, as this may lead to lamp failure during operation. If the flask is dirty, be sure to degrease it with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
Block headlights
Withdrawal
1. Turn off screws of fastening and remove a radiator lattice.
2. Loosen and remove the headlight mounting screws.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors.
4. Remove the headlamp.
Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Body type sedan
Hatchback body type
When installing, tighten the headlamp fixing screws to 6 Nm.
Fog lights
Withdrawal
Loosen the nuts securing the fog lights.
Remove fog lights.
When installing, tighten the fog lamp mounting nuts to 3 Nm.
Lamp replacement
Low / high beam lamp
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp socket.
2. Remove the cover covering the lamp.
3. Remove the lamp retainer spring.
Position lamp
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp socket.
2. Turn the lamp socket counterclockwise.
3. Remove the bulb socket from the headlight housing.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket.
Turn signal lamp
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp socket.
- Turn the lamp socket counterclockwise.
- Remove the bulb holder from the headlight housing.
- While pressing the bulb, turn it counterclockwise and remove the bulb from the socket.
Fog lamp (body type sedan)
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp socket.
- Turn the lamp socket counterclockwise.
- Remove the bulb from the headlight housing.
Fog lamp (hatchback body style)
- Turn the plastic cover counterclockwise and remove it.
- Remove the spring clip.
- Remove the bulb from the headlight housing.
Turn signal repeaters
Lamp replacement
1. Remove the lamp assembly by pushing it back.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Turn the lamp socket counterclockwise.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket without turning it.
Rear combination lamps
The rear combination lights include the following sections: dimensions, brake light, direction indicator, reversing light, fog light.
Body type sedan
Withdrawal
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Remove a lateral upholstery of a luggage compartment.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors.
4. Turn off screws of fastening and remove the block of back lanterns.
Hatchback body type
1. Open the back door.
2. Turn off screws of fastening of the block of back lanterns.
3. Remove the rear light unit by pulling it up and towards you.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors.
When installing, tighten the fastening screws to 3 Nm.
Additional brake light (sedan)
Withdrawal
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp socket.
3. Turn off screws of fastening and remove a brake light in gathering.
4. Pull the bulb socket out of the housing.
5. If necessary, unscrew the fastening screws and separate the housing and the brake light reflector.
Additional brake light (hatchback)
Withdrawal
1. Open the back door.
2. Lower the brake light housing by pressing the tabs.
3. Use a screwdriver to open the diffuser cover.
4. Turn off screws of fastening and remove a stoplight.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Remove the lamp.
When installing, tighten the fastening screws to 3 Nm.
License plate light
Withdrawal
1. Loosen the fastening screws.
2. Remove the lamp assembly.
3. Remove the lamp socket from the housing by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket.
When installing, tighten the lamp fastening screws to 1.5 Nm.
Luggage compartment light
Withdrawal
Carefully depressing the fixation tabs, using a flat screwdriver, remove the lighting lamp.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Limit switch
Located in the doorway. Serves to turn on the interior lighting when the door is opened. The tightening torque of the switch mounting screw is 4.5 Nm.
