Withdrawal
1. Install and secure the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Set wheels to straight ahead.
3. Remove wheels.
4. Disconnect the high pressure supply and return lines and plug them with plugs to prevent leakage of the working fluid.
5. Turn off nuts of fastening of spherical hinges of steering draughts.
6. Remove the ball joint pins with a puller.
7. Disconnect the anti-roll bar.
8. Disconnect the ball joint from the front arm by unscrewing the two mounting bolts.
9. Turn off a coupling bolt of a plug connection of a shaft of a steering column and take a bolt.
10. Remove the screws securing the lower motor support to the cross member.
11. Place a jack under the beam.
12. Turn off nuts and take out bolts of fastening of a stretcher to a body.
13. Lower the jack and remove the subframes.
14. Turn off nuts of bolts of fastening of the steering mechanism.
15. Remove the steering gear assembly.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
When installing, tighten the fasteners to the following torques:
- nuts for fastening the brackets of the crankcase of the steering mechanism - 50 Nm;
- nuts for fastening the subframe to the body - 150Nm;
- nuts securing the ball joint pin to the steering knuckle - 60 Nm;
- nuts securing the ball joint pin to the steering knuckle - 100 Nm;
- nuts for fastening the ball joint to the lever - 50 Nm;
- anti-roll bar mount nuts - 45 Nm;
- fittings of the inlet and return pipeline - 22 Nm;
- nut of the steering column shaft coupling bolt - 22 Nm.
