Caution: Do not use a two post lift when removing the rear springs. Due to vibrations during the removal of certain fasteners, the rear axle assembly may slip off the lift. This may cause injury. If necessary, perform the procedure on the floor.
Withdrawal
1. Raise and secure the vehicle well. If possible, use a contact lift and secure the rear arms with stands.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the right and left shock absorber bolts.
4. Lower the rear axle and remove the springs and elastic top spring stop.
Installation
Caution: Before installing the springs, the elastic top spring stops must be attached to the body with duct tape so that they remain in place while the axle assembly and springs are raised.
1. Install the top insulator and fix the bottom buffer.
2. Install the springs and raise the axle.
3. Install shock absorbers.
Attention: before tightening the shock absorber mounting bolts, it is necessary to raise the axle assembly to the height of the vehicle.
4. Install the wheel.
5. Remove the stands and lower the vehicle.
