Withdrawal
Attention: remove the tank only if it is replaced due to damage or leakage.
1. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector from the reservoir.
2. For vehicles with manual transmission, connect the clutch master cylinder fluid hose to the brake master cylinder reservoir.
3. Gently pry up the tank with a screwdriver to loosen it.
4. Tilt the reservoir and pull up to remove it.
5. Remove the rubber sealing bushings of the tank from the body of the main brake cylinder.
Installation
1. Lubricate new seals with clean brake fluid.
2. Install the seals in the cylinder body.
3. Establish a tank on the case of the main brake cylinder. (ABS system shown).
4. For manual transmission vehicles, connect the fluid supply hose to the clutch cylinder from the master cylinder reservoir.
5. Add brake fluid.
6. Raise and secure the vehicle.
7. Remove air from the clutch master cylinder.
8. Remove air from other elements of brake system.
9. Lower the car.
10. Connect the electrical connector.
