2. Release the parking brake.
3. Raise and secure the car well.
4. Check the parking brake cables for free movement.
5. Lower the car.
6. Move the front seats forward to provide sufficient work space.
7. Twist and remove the plastic covers that cover the access holes to the screws securing the parking brake console cover with the tunnel brackets.
8. Remove the screws securing the parking brake console cover to the tunnel brackets.
9. Lift the console cover to gain access to the parking brake lever and adjusting nut.
10. Partially raise and secure the vehicle well.
11. Turn the adjusting nut on the parking brake lever until the wheels are difficult to turn.
12. Further loosen a nut before the moment of the beginning of free rotation of back wheels.
13. Lower the car.
14. Install the parking brake console cover and attach it with screws to the tunnel brackets.
Puff
Tighten the screws securing the parking brake console cover to the tunnel brackets to 2.5 Nm.
15. Install and latch the plastic covers that cover the access holes to the screws securing the parking brake console cover to the tunnel brackets.
16. Set the front seats to their original position.
